Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in Hong Kong diverge

According to Other side According to data, the digital asset exchange-traded fund (ETF) market in Hong Kong (HK) experienced a flow divergence on May 8. While Bitcoin ETFs (BTC) saw overall inflows, Ethereum ETFs (ETH) saw outflows.

Farside data shows that BTC ETFs in Hong Kong attracted a combined inflow of $6.3 million on May 8. Bosera’s BTC ETF led the way with an inflow of $6.2 million, bringing its total net inflows to $15.8 million. AMC’s BTC ETF saw an inflow of $0.1 million, totaling $3.6 million in net inflows. Harvest’s BTC ETF saw no inflows or outflows on the day, but its total net inflow is $6.5 million. Collectively, BTC ETFs in Hong Kong have accumulated $25.9 million in total net inflows.
In contrast, Hong Kong ETH ETFs faced outflows on May 8. Bosera’s ETH ETF saw an outflow of $0.9 million, bringing its total net inflows to $8.1 million. AMC’s ETH ETF saw an outflow of $0.8 million, totaling $2.2 million in net outflows. Harvest’s ETH ETF saw an outflow of $0.2 million, bringing its total net outflow to $0.2 million. According to Farside data, ETH ETFs in Hong Kong saw a net inflow of $5.7 million.
Farside data indicates that collective net inflows into BTC and ETH ETFs in Hong Kong reached $31.6 million.
American ETFs
On May 8, activity was relatively sluggish in the United States. Bitwise’s BITB ETF was the only one to see an inflow of $11.5 million, bringing its total net inflow to $1,759.6 billion. All other US ETFs saw no entries or exits. According to Farside data, total net inflows for US ETFs are $11,778.2 billion.
