Bitcoin Hotels, the first in the world with a Japanese and British partnership
London, UK, June 6, 2024, Chainwire
IKAR Holdings and Unify Platform will create the world’s first Bitcoin Hotel.
IKAR holdings Limited, a multi-level business group based in London, and Unify Platform AG, a Swiss-based Japanese technology company that also owns Uniplat, announced today that they will establish the world’s first Bitcoin Hotels.
Unify is the creator of Unified Platform Token (UPT), a versatile cryptocurrency designed to improve user engagement with decentralized platforms. UPT offers a wide range of applications and benefits, making it a valuable asset in the evolving digital economy.

Under the brand “Bitcoin hotels”, the partners aim to revolutionize the global hospitality industry by introducing the first hotel chain where guests can seamlessly pay for accommodation using cryptocurrency alongside ordinary currencies. With an initial hotel in Istanbul, followed by expansions in iconic cities such as London and Tokyo, their vision is to create a distinctive luxury experience at the intersection of technology and hospitality.
The hotel’s target customers will be tech-savvy travelers, cryptocurrency enthusiasts, millennials, digital nomads and international travelers looking for convenient cross-border payments without currency conversion hassles.
Bitcoin Hotels will offer cryptocurrency payment integration, luxury accommodations and cutting-edge technology for a seamless guest experience.
The new Bitcoin Hotels will have at least 100+ rooms, a rooftop lounge, a club that can only be accessed via a loyalty card, a swimming pool, state-of-the-art conference and event facilities and bespoke dining options.
Through the creation of The Bitcoin Hotels, the partners will increase cryptocurrency adoption across multiple industries, creating a niche opportunity for cryptocurrency-friendly hospitality.
Bitcoin Hotels will partner with cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets and blockchain companies, which will improve visibility and credibility within the crypto community. Hosting crypto events, meetups, and conferences will further attract your target audience.
Bitcoin Hotels will offer a range of accommodations, from standard rooms to luxury suites, with all services payable in cryptocurrencies. Guests will enjoy secure high-speed Internet and technology workspaces, blockchain-based reservation and check-in/out systems, and crypto-themed amenities such as a museum or digital currency exhibit.
Sertan Ayçiçek, president of the group IKAR holdings, said: “The Bitcoin Hotels is not just a hospitality business; is a flagship project in the convergence of luxury hospitality and cryptocurrency innovation. By aligning the best hospitality properties with cutting-edge technologies, we aim to redefine the boundaries of traditional hospitality and set new standards for guest experience and digital integration.”
“Through strategic planning, operational excellence and commitment to innovation, The Bitcoin Hotels aspires to make an indelible mark on the global hospitality landscape and create a legacy of excellence in the realm of luxury travel experiences imbued of technology,” said Dr. Takahisa Karita, founder and chief financial officer of Unify AG Platform.
