DeFi exchange DYdX in talks to sell its derivatives trading platform

DYdX Trading Inc., the developer of the decentralized finance exchange of the same name, is in talks to sell some of its derivatives trading software for an undisclosed amount to a consortium that includes some of crypto’s largest market makers, according to people familiar with the matter.

Wintermute Trading Ltd. and Selini Capital are among potential buyers of dYdX v3 software, said two of the people, who requested anonymity because the discussions have not been made public. Perella Weinberg Partners advises New York-based YdX Trading, they said.
