Gemini praises India’s exceptional engineering talent
Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian, has expressed deep respect for India’s rich tradition of engineering excellence, recognizing the country as a hub of exceptional technological talent, poised to set new benchmarks.
The Winklevoss twins, founders of Gemini, expressed their excitement about the company’s new headquarters in India. They praised the country’s vibrant energy and exceptional talent pool, highlighting India’s importance in the global cryptocurrency revolution.

In September 2023, Gemini said it would invest ₹200 crore, or $24 million, in India over the next two years. The Gurgaon office will house Gemini’s engineering, design and operations teams, tasked with developing global products and services.
Winklevoss underlined Gemini’s commitment to India, viewing the office as an integral part of the company’s core operations. Underscoring Gemini’s commitment to India, he described the India office as the hub of their operations, where employees are dedicated to crossing borders around the clock.
